June 2022 VAT on electricity reduction to 5% and extension of other tax reductions

 In June 2022, the Spanish government further extended the tax reductions, notably on VAT, on electricity and gas consumption implemented in October 2022 and already extended in March 2022. The reductions, which were later lessened in the fall 2022, run until January 2023.
