Temporary reduction in electricity, gas and heating distribution tariffs

 In an effort to shield consumers from the impacts of the global energy crisis, the Latvian government implemented temporary reduction in fixed-term electricity, gas and heating distribution tariffs for households (up to a consumption limit set at 100 kWh by month) and businesses, from October 2022 to end March or April 2023) . Distribution operator compensation by the Latvian State is also planned for.
