650 GWh renewable energy auction with strike price guarantee

The fifth national auction in Estonia managed by the electricity and gas system operator Elering should add additional 650 GWh of renewable energy generation between 2023 and 2027 supplying 215 thousand households. Maximum bid amount will be EUR 45/MWh, which will be a guaranteed strike price. Participants will get a maximum subsidy amount of EUR 20/MWh in case the electricity market price will be below the strike price.
