Reforming Korea's Electricity Market for Net Zero Report Launch
On 9 December the International Energy Agency and the Korea Energy Economics Institute will launch their joint report “Reforming Korea’s Electricity Market for Net Zero”, commissioned by Korea’s Ministry of Trade Industry and Energy. The study analyses market design improvements to achieve net zero in Korea's power sector, in accordance with the country's long-term decarbonisation objectives. The launch event will feature high-level interventions, a presentation of Korea’s Carbon Neutral Strategy and the main findings of the joint study covering recommendations on system flexibility, market design and the deployment of distributed resources, followed by a Q&A session. The event is open to the public upon registration.
